The seeds for The Fullness of Time were planted with the band s self-titled debut in the summer of 2002. That album features members of Fates Warning, Steel Prophet, and Symphony X. Redemption leader Nick van Dyk prevailed upon his close friend, Fates W

If you like Fates Warning and Dream Theater try this! - Great ablum. Even better to see them live! If you like Fates Warning and Dream Theater try this!

BAD AZZ - Rottenly heavy and progressive to the core.Alder rips it and does something totally different and hits it right n the mark. All musicians are great and great melodies.Makes you wonder what Fates Warning could be doing if given the flexibility.

Redemtion - Fans Of Fates Warning, Dream Theater, or Symphony X Should Enjoy This. - This is a progressive metal album that seems to have been somewhat overlooked. The band features vocalist Ray Alder from Fates Warning, and there is a definite Fates vibe to a lot of this material. The album is the band s 2nd release and features music that is kind of like a combination of Fates Warning, Symphony X and Dream Theater combined. That being said, Redemption does not really sound like a clone of any of these. The music here is all top notch, and I also enjoy the lyrics which are topical yet not clichéd. I saw someone else describe them as diary entries and I think that is a pretty good description. Alder s vocals are as good as ever and overall this is just a really excellent melodic progressive metal album. This is a must purchase for fans of Fates Warning and I would think that prog metal fans in general would get a lot of enjoyment out of this one.

Awesome... and very progressive - Ray Alder shines. This is a wonderful band. I bought their most recent one first-the Origins... which is also very good. I liked that one so much that I had to get this one. What a musical treat- very proggy songs-very long songs that don t meander. Alder is amazing but so is the entire band! Kure the Kommon Kamelot Kick and take the journey to this band. They won t make you think of Journey like some other band I know. Vespussie can claim that he discovered. But, in the long run he simply found another journey.

A Dickensian prog-metal release - Dickensian, as in this recording presents the best of times (musically) and the worst of times (lyrically). Like, I suspect, a lot of metal/prog-metal listeners I don t place the highest priority on the vocals and lyrics. Let s be honest, there are a lot of earnest but slightly goofy lyrics in the genre. But this one from Redemption... wow. It sounds like someone singing another person s diary entries, and they have no clue how to make it musical or, you know, lyrical. Simply awful. It s very frustrating because the music is quite good, heavy but intricate and all that you probably like to hear in a prog-metal record, but the lyrics are too bad to simply ignore. It s like trying to have a sip of your favorite drink while someone kicks you in the groin.
